Payment, Wallet Credit, and Refund Policy

This policy explains how wallet credit and payment outcomes work for LicenceMate lesson booking changes.

VORT, mock VORT, test-day bookings, Pre-VORT warmups, and use of an instructor car for a test may have separate payment, change, and refund rules. They are not covered by this lesson policy unless LicenceMate explicitly says so.

Wallet credit basics

LicenceMate may use wallet credit to pay for eligible lesson bookings. Package credits and returned booking credits are visible in your dashboard when supported by the product.

Wallet credit is normally used toward eligible future lesson bookings. A returned booking credit is not automatically the same as a cash refund.

Lesson and package credits expire 24 months after they are issued unless a shorter period is clearly stated at the time of issue. Credits are not transferable and cannot be converted to cash unless this policy says a cash refund may be requested.

When credit is returned to your wallet

Your lesson booking credit is returned to your LicenceMate wallet when:

• you cancel a lesson more than 24 hours before it starts
• your instructor cancels a lesson
• your instructor cancels the original lesson and sends a reschedule proposal
• your instructor makes an emergency cancellation or emergency reschedule inside 24 hours, unless a later approved policy says otherwise

Returned credit can be used toward another eligible lesson booking.

When credit is not changed

If you self-reschedule a lesson more than 24 hours before the start time, your existing booking is updated in place.

There is no wallet credit return, new charge, refund, or payment change for that self-reschedule.

When credit is forfeited

If you cancel a lesson within 24 hours of the start time, it is treated as a late cancellation. The booking credit is forfeited and is not returned to your wallet.

No-show outcomes are separate. If you do not attend and do not cancel before the lesson, the no-show policy applies.

Instructor proposal payment outcomes

If your instructor proposes a replacement lesson time, your original booking is cancelled and the original booking credit is returned to your wallet while the proposal is pending.

If you accept the proposal, LicenceMate applies available wallet credit or payment to the confirmed replacement booking.

If you decline the proposal or it expires, no replacement booking is created. Any credit returned for the original booking remains in your wallet unless another approved policy or support action applies.

Cash refunds

You may request a cash refund review when LicenceMate cannot provide the service you paid for, including instructor-caused failures, duplicate payment, no instructor service availability, or other support-approved cases.

Learner late cancellations, learner no-shows, expired credits, transfer requests, and ordinary change-of-mind requests are not eligible for cash refund under this lesson policy.

If a cash refund is approved, LicenceMate refunds the lesson price that is eligible for refund. Handling fees and payment processing fees are not refunded.

Approved card and bank-transfer refunds usually take 5-10 business days after approval, depending on the bank or payment provider. BNPL refunds are subject to the BNPL provider's rules. Wallet-credit returns are visible in your LicenceMate wallet once processed.
